Day 34 (23.06.2014 Mon) – A farewell tea hosted by Vera Little

For lunch we had chicken and lamb chop prepared by our good ladies. We would thank Jessie for a plate of black pudding for us to taste during lunch.

In the afternoon at 3pm a tea hosted by Vera Little at her residence who lives in front of Alistair’s house. Vera Little then gave us each a porcelain plate and cup with the name Stranraer printed on it as a farewell gift together with a little card. And for dinner we had tatties from Alistair’s garden and chicken casserole from Jessie.

Pauline Toh and Betty Ching were seen very busy preparing food.

The chicken and lamb chop ready to be cooked.

Alistair's freezer is full of cheese bought by us to be taken back. The Lidl Valley Spire matured cheddar 1kg block cheese is only £4.79. We had actually bought lots of food that are cheap to but it here than in Malaysia. We have been checking our baggage weight to make sure that it is not exceeded the airlines permitted weight.

The chicken and lamb chop lunch ready to be eaten.

The boiled broccoli simply taste good for lunch.

Black pudding is a type of blood sausage commonly eaten in Britain and Ireland. It is generally made from pork blood and a relatively high proportion of oatmeal.

A walk to Vera Little house at 3pm also in Millfield Avenue, Stranraer.
