With Malaysia`s long holiday around Merdeka on August 31st. family members decided to meet up at Ching Jin Yuan`s house in Subang Jaya for a 2-day food hunt in Kuala Lumpur. The 6 of us met except for Jessie Lee, she took the opportunity to return to her hometown of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah to visit her dear mother there. She also took Crystabelle to visit "porpor". We will miss both of them in SJ.

Good place to eat, go early to get a nice seat.


The special thing is the coffee with tea, brewed in a classic herbal pot, a must try when you come here, where deep fried Chee Chong Fan is another delicious appetizer to try.

Kwai Chai Hong is the Cantonese transliteration of the three characters 鬼仔巷.
It means "Ghost alley" or "Devil's alley".

A walk to Lalaport and Berjaya Times Square. Lalaport, the mall built on Pudu Prison, is well worth a visit.

Japanese Street at LaLaPort Bukit Bintang. Visited LaLaPort Bukit Bintang KL shopping mall, they decorated part of the ground floor to become Japan City. Peach blossoms and lucky cat are on display to take pictures with friends and family. Colorful lanterns and reverse painted umbrellas are the image you are walking on the streets of Tokyo Japan.
