🐪2026 CENTRAL ASIA Day 02 Adventure: Tashkent → Bishkek Airport (1h20m)

Day 2 (19 May 2026) Tashkent Airport @10.50 → Bishkek Manas Airport @13.10 (1h:20m)

Our 2nd day began with an early-morning stroll through the neighborhood near our Revel Hotel. On walking along a nearby highway, we stopped at a local grocery store and purchased some freshly baked non (Uzbek bread). After our short walk, we returned to the hotel for breakfast before continuing our adventure.

The ten of us took three Yandex Go cars to Tashkent Airport to board our Centrum Air flight to Bishkek. However, upon arrival, we were informed that our Centrum Air flight had been delayed from 10:55 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. With several unexpected hours to spare, we adjusted to airport life and made the best of it.

Much of the day was spent waiting in the terminal. Some of us relaxed over a beer at the Terminal Café, while others exchanged US dollars for local. Eventually, we boarded our flight and arrived in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. After checking into our accommodation, we enjoyed a simple dinner at a café located behind the hotel. RM1 is about 3000 UZS som.
