Our initial destination was the impressive Спасо-Преображенский собор (Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral). We arrived just in time to witness the high priest's entrance, a moment filled with tranquility and wonder. We felt His presence in the house of worship.

Taking a break for a quick lunch at Vladivostok.

After a quick lunch, we took a bus tour to the tiny Mayak Tokaryevsky Lighthouse, access to which was tide-dependent. This picturesque site looks especially beautiful when the small piece of land leading to it is slightly flooded by Amur Bay.

We admired the magnificent Zolotoy Bridge spanning the bay. The view from the bridge, particularly from Eagle Hill, was awe-inspiring! It brought to mind the Penang Bridge(s) we have back in Malaysia. This bridge is not only an architectural marvel; it serves to connect the city, facilitating transportation and uniting its people.

At Vladivostok Train Station: We bought takeaway dinner and promptly boarded the Trans-Siberian night-train at 5:20 pm. We all sat in the same carriage with 2x2 bunk beds per cabin, no different from a hostel cabin bed. We had a few train stops, lasting anywhere from a few minutes to 30 minutes. We had a self-organized drinking party on the train, drinking Russian beer and vodka together. Some people were touched by the Holy Spirit! By 10 pm, it was compulsory silence night for all. Goodnight!
