On the first day of 2024, Madam Lee Li Ling and her family hosted a steamboat dinner at their beautiful home in Simpang Ampat, Penang. Thank you very much for the wonderful dinner. Your hospitality made the evening special. We appreciate your generosity and delicious food. Thank you for having us over. Friends of her family were also invited to dinner and we all had a good time getting to know each other.

Tanqueray Malacca is a sweeter gin with less juniper emphasis and more citrus than the classic style. Originally introduced in the late 1990s, Malacca was discontinued after a short lifespan but has been resurrected after gradually assuming cult status among cocktail revivalist bartenders as a good substitute for the original Old Tom styles of gin.


Bombay Sapphire Gin is one of the best-known and most delicately perfumed gins in the world, Bombay Sapphire Gin makes an excellent Martini and is great as a base for a Gin and Tonic. Light and piney juniper, with soft peppery warmth building. Subtle sweetness of sugared almond and angelica develops, still packed with herbaceous-ness.

Wakefield Promised Land - The name actually comes from one of those classic over-the-fence chats that neighbours have. It was 1969, Bill had just established his vineyards and he was already looking beyond those borders to expand the Clare Valley estate. His neighbour to the east had a beautiful patch of land with gently rolling hills and soils perfect for grape growing in Southern Australia.
