Day 15 (July 05) Krasnoyarsk 19:05 to Novosibirsk 08:28 (+1) - 24° / 11°

Breakfast at the Hotel Krasnoyarsk was delightful. The machine-brewed coffee was exceptional. The breakfast experience on the 4th floor of the Krasnoyarsk Hotel was quite unique. It appears to be a hotel from the Soviet era that has undergone recent updates and renovations. Following breakfast, we embarked on a walking tour by the Yenisei River, exploring the various historical landmarks. A gentle drizzle accompanied our stroll, with the temperature hovering around 18°C. The water surface of the Yenisei was shrouded in mist, resulting from the temperature difference between the air and the water. It felt like a surreal experience.

Krasnoyarsk is the main city and administrative center in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. It is located on the Yenisey River and is Siberia's second-largest city after Novosibirsk, with a population of more than 1.1 million. Krasnoyarsk is an important junction on the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway and one of the country's main aluminum manufacturers.

Krasnoyarsk Big Ben. This lovely edifice with a large clock is located near the Opera Theater on the left bank of the Yenisey River. The Communal Bridge, which was portrayed on the last 10 rouble banknotes, began near this edifice, known locally as "Big Ben." It also bears some resemblance to London's iconic Big Ben.

In Krasnoyarsk, an interesting Cat café has opened. Guests at "Kis-Kis" café will not only dine, but also communicate with cats.It is estimated that the cafe will house seven pets. Each of them is a cat.

We strolled past Soviet and post-Soviet structures, memorials dedicated to those who faced persecution, Nyuton Park, the St. Nicholas Steamer Museum, the City Philharmonic, Vinogradodkiy Most Bridge, the 375th Anniversary Triumphal Arch, and numerous other sites
