On day 6, we traveled about 110km in 2.5 hours at an altitude from 3700-4100-3500m. After breakfast we departed our hotel at Yading Village 1 for 3.4km by sightseeing bus to reach Zhaguan Beng and then walked 0.5km to the Chonggu service area. From here we first visited the Chonggu Temple, the foot of XianNairi Mountain, the holy lake of Zhuoma Lacuo (Pearl Sea). Pearl Sea Lake is located at the foot of the XianNairi Mountain.
After visiting the scenic area, the sightseeing bus took us back to the park entrance where our bus driver was waiting. On journey back to Daocheng, we enjoyed the scenic Citu River, Gongga Lang Jiling Monastery, Qing Yang Lin Woods, paradise-like Tibetan village. The cottonwood along the journey poses the beautiful view of Shangri-La. In Daocheng we check-in at Daocheng Jinzhu Grand Hotel for a rest. Tonight dinner at Suonanlinka Tibetan Restaurant was special, it was hosted by a China doctor friend of Peter Pan working in Chengdu.
