Day 5 (Sun.09 Dec.2018) – On this second day in Bangkok, a 10 minutes’ walk from our apartment we took the morning water taxi (Khlong boat) at Saphan WitthaYu Pier. It was our first time taking the water taxi to Pratunam Pier for shopping at Pratunam Mall. Had very good lunch at Bangkok’s Pratunam food court.
In the evening we took a grab taxi to Chocolate Ville (ช็อคโกแลต วิลล์) Restaurant and Park, Bangkok. It took us around 30 minutes from our apartment. In Chocolate Ville, we can stroll around the beautiful landscape and unique design of European building, and have dinner at the restaurant. A very good place for photo shoot and the good news is there is no entrance fee, yes it’s FREE! While busy during rush hour, the water taxi is convenient for shopping and sightseeing temples, markets, old simple wooden houses and interesting bridges en route many places.
Another shopping haven, for those on a tight budget or in search of something totally off-the-wall. Find all your accessories from Platinum Market, Platinum Fashion Mall, or hit Pantip Plaza for cheap computer equipment. To get here, hop off at Pratunam Central Pier.
What is around: Pratunam Market, Platinum Fashion mall or Panthip Plaza IT mall (turn right on leaving pier, then first left into Petchaburi Road); CentralWorld, Gaysorn and Erawan (turn left down Ratchadamri Road); Ganesha, Trimurti or Erawan shrines (turn left down Ratchadamri Road).

We arrived Chocolate Ville (ช็อคโกแลต วิลล์) around 6pm before it was dark and before they turned on the lights so we could enjoy both afternoon and night scenery.
Chocolate Ville is divided into several zones, each with a different theme and setting. The entire park is a recreation of a period-era European town - complete with a bakery, florist, ice-cream parlour, an inn, and all the other trappings of a whimsical old-world village.
Chocolate Ville an outdoor restaurant and park in spacious land with European Village theme. You can stroll around enjoying the view, taking photos then have dinner.

After strolling around and took pictures, we got hungry and decided to eat. Apparently the restaurant in Chocolate Ville is a central restaurant, so wherever you sit, you will get the same menu.

Chocolate Ville is certainly a nice destination to spend a couple of hours with family or to have a romantic getaway.
We were very glad to have enjoyed this magnificent European Village theme park for food and took tons of picture here. It was definitely an unforgettable wonderful great experience with my family!
