A 6day 6pax family holiday adventure to Thailand from 5th to 10th December 2018.
It all happened so quickly in July when my son Ching Jin Wei and Shevin Teoh suggested that we should have a family trip together for the first time. With everybody giving their thumbs up and said yes; Jin Wei and Shevin did all the bookings and arrangement, my wife and I were just merely passengers, so so happy! We stayed 3 nights in Pak Chong exploring Khao Yai and 2 nights in Bangkok shopping and eating. Palio Khao Yai is a picturesque shopping centre, themed around a Tuscan village where visitors are treated to an out-of-the-ordinary combination of clothes and gift shopping, gourmet snacks, shops and stalls.
Palio Khao Yai Village - Surrounding is decorated with building structure resembles Tuscany. The feeling of entering an European countryside.

Apart from the restaurant and museum, Ban Mai Chay Nam actually expanded and built a resort hotel. Located just opposite the restaurant and museum, the hotel is just a bridge away.

ReplyDeleteWatching the zillions of bats flying out of their cave in a spiral web wave during their feeding time in the evening is a scene to behold.
Equally entertaining is to watch these bats returning to their cave in the early dawn hours the next morning before the sun rise.
They zoomed into the cave like the "kamakaze" zero fighters, straight like an arrow, one after another.
Experienced both sightings at close range near the cave mouth at Carlsberg Caverns National Park, New Mexico, USA.
