2009 Exploring Lumut by kayak via 5km Sungai Lumut Kanan

L-R: Ching Neng Bin, Lee Kah Heng, Lee (son of Kah Heng), Song Poh, Kok Lai Khim, Puah, Helen Chok Yuen Lee, Mike Khaw Eng Aun getting ready to explore Lumut by the river instead of the road.

After our backpacking trip to Philippines in February 2009, we decided to have a gathering in Lumut to catch-up and to view all our photos. At the same time, we took the opportunity to explore the 5km Lumut Kanan River leading to Lumut Yacht Club waterfront area along Jalan Titi Panjang. Many thanks to Ching Neng Bin for providing the two night stay at Desair Apartment in Lumut. As usual evening was the good sea-food for dinner followed by fellowship in the apartment.

  1. I'd always wanted to kayaks in this mangrove area.
Now i'm thinking to do it this year.
Perhaps ask my friend who's the boss of this apartment to set up a kayak department for tourist here.
Got to do it this year around.
need more support for adventure people as well.
