2017 Party at Diamond Creeks Resort

22.07.2017 - My wife and I were invited by Steven Hor for a potluck gathering at Diamond Creeks Resort, Tg Malim. The Diamond Creeks residence would hold their regular monthly potluck gathering in their homes by rotation, and this time around was at Steven's residence. It was an enjoyable fantastic evening with plenty of food and drinks plus my Cosmic Cowboys live-band entertaining the guests.

When we arrived at Diamond Creeks, Steven Hor took us to visit Mr SC Lim's new wooden hut in his farm house.

This beautiful wooden hut was completely built in just 7 days.

Corridor wood decorative paneling are joined together using tongue and groove method.

The tongue and groove joint method are used to laminate walls and floors. This type of wood joint holds two boards together along their edges. The edge of the joining board is extended into a thin tongue that fits the groove. Often both tongue and groove are curved slightly so that the tongue needs to enter the groove at an angle. When the boards are laid side by side, they “lock” together and cannot be separated unless one is lifted up.

The shaded down-slope path to Mr SC Lim's new swimming pool and also a fish pool for self consumption.

Mr Lim and his two children built this above ground swimming pool using PVC pipe as the pool wall frame and trampoline sheet to hold water. Fresh water are pipe in from the river beside the farm.
